Cranio-sacral balancing is a form of cranio-sacral therapy. It is a procedure in which the practitioner concentrates on perceiving rhythmic movements in the client's skull, spine, sacrum and central nervous system. The practitioner uses gentle movements to try to influence this cranio-sacral rhythm.

Changes or blockages are perceived through palpation, which are attempted to be positively influenced with targeted, gentle movements. The treatment can activate the body's own self-regulating mechanisms, such as the immune system, the hormone system or stress management, and support the healing process.

How does a cranio work?

Cranio-sacral balance can have an effect on different levels of the body, which can manifest themselves individually or together. These include the physical level, the emotional level, the mental-mental level and the emotional-spiritual level. Due to the way it works on all these levels, balance is said to have a wide range of applications and effects.
