Your best route to Bad Gastein:

By car or by train: Our Felsentherme Bad Gastein is located in the south of the Salzburger Land region, less than 100 km from the city of Salzburg. To start your day with a relaxed journey, here is a brief overview of the different possibilities to get to Felsentherme Bad Gastein!

By car: 

No matter which direction you come from, you have good transport connections.
If you want to be on the safe side, you can also find Felsentherme Bad Gastein in the route planner. 
There is a short-term parking zone directly in front of our Felsentherme (€ 0.50 per half hour). A ticket can be purchased at the car park ticket machine, which is refunded at our thermal spa ticket office. For our day guests we recommend the free use of the car park at the Stubnerkogelbahn. From here, a panoramic footbridge leads directly to the Thermal Spa ticket office. 

Travelling from Munich/Salzburg:

On the A10 Tauern motorway leave the motorway at Bischofshofen and follow the main road 167 into the valley Gasteinertal as far as Bad Gastein, our Felsentherme is located directly opposite the Bad Gastein railway station.

Travelling from Carinthia (via Mallnitz)

Here you can use the Autoschleuse Tauernbahn. 

BY TRAIN:

Travelling to Bad Gastein by train is a very convenient option, as (the) Bad Gastein train station is very centrally located and directly opposite Felsentherme Bad Gastein. If you are travelling by train, you will also benefit from a reduction n the entry fee to the Thermal Spa (on presentation of your train tickets). You can easily book your train ticket on the website of the Austrian Federal Railways Österreichischen Bundesbahnen.
